In the course of the tutorial I have made some changes to the “Getting Started with IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules 7.0.2 Trial – Installation” document as it turned out that OpenJDK didn’t work well with Rule Studio on RHEL 5.4 x86-64 and I had to install IBM Java SDK 6. Since the execution environment is a JEE application server, a ruleapp is a WAR file (unless I’m mistaken, which is not improbable providing my knowledge of JRules at the moment).
